The Calgary Callies won the 2009 Mike Traficante Cup, clinching the team’s fourth-consecutive Alberta provincial title with a 2:1 victory over the Edmonton Green & Gold.  Since 1999, the Callies have qualified for nine of 11 BMO National Championships senior men’s competitions. Darts SC becomes the newest member of the Alberta Major Soccer League for 2010 Season.  In a two game series against existing AMSL KC Trojans Darts Premier won the first match 3-2 at home and tied 2-2 in Edmonton to advance to the AMSL next season.  Congratulations to the team and club for this acheivement.  Calgary will have 5 members competiting in the AMSL in 2010.

Field Conditions:  For updates on field conditions, field addresses etc. Ensure that you follow the information provided for the various fields.  The CUSA Office cannot confirm the field status daily.  The link for the field contact numbers is  here.  Field conditions are updated prior to 4:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am on weekends.  As weather patterns vary within Calgary it is important to ensure you have confirmed the field status around these times.  Fields may be closed after these times if the conditions deteriorate however, once closed a field may not be opened that day.

Registration dates and times. Indoor player registration will not commence until October.   All new players must come to the office to register, new players should not fax in a waiver.  Only returning players may fax a registration/waiver form to the office (270-0573) or email it to info@cusa.ab.ca.  Your club name on your card must match the club you are registering to.  If you have changed teams you will require a new card.  For card changes please bring your waiver with you to the office. Map to CUSA Office 

CUSA Members recognized by Canadian Soccer Association at CSA Awards Banquet.   The Canadian Soccer Association recognized its award winners at its evening banquet in Banff, AB Saturday, May 2nd. The banquet was presented in conjunction with the Canadian Soccer Association's Annual General Meeting, hosted this year by the Alberta Soccer Association.  For more . . .
