8v8 Information


8v8 Indoor non-boarded soccer is a popular program offered by CUSA.  Due to the popularity of the program and limited field availability we encourage all our members who are interested in playing to sign up as soon as possible.  Teams who registered in the program last year will have have a guaranteed spot this season provided they a) return to the same division/program b) have completed registration and paid their deposit by September 13th.

 

Indoor 2019-20 Season

  • 16 Game season
  • 5 divisions are offered:
    • Men's Open Competitive
    • Men's Open Intermediate
    • Men's Open Recreational
    • Masters Competitive
    • Masters Recreational
  • Games played at the Foothills Fieldhouse (111 Exploration Ave SE)
  • Games nights will depend on the division and age bracket but will be played on one of the following
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights
  • 2 - 25 minute halves
  • 7 outfield players plus a goalkeeper
  • No boards
  • You CAN wear outdoor cleats or turf shoes

Cost

Men's - $3,835.00

 **Please note that these costs are based on 16 game seasons .  If there are not enough teams in the division to have the targeted amount of games, team's accounts will be adjusted accordingly**

Finding a Team

Teams are responsible for building their own rosters. Players looking for teams can check out our Team Postings page under the Resources tab to find the team that best fits their skill level and commitment. 

 

How to Register?
New to CUSA  
Returning Player
Choose one of these 3 options
 
Youth Player
(16 - 17 yrs. of age)
  • Register at the CUSA Office. This is the only time you must register at the office.
  • You will need to bring a government ID with your photo and date of birth.
 
  • Accept your online invite
  • Come to the office
     
  • Complete and submit to the office your waiver (fax or email)
 
  • The first time you register as a member of CUSA you will need to submit both a Player Registration Form and a Youth Information Sheet which must be signed by a legal guardian and yourself.
  • You will need to bring a government ID with your photo and date of birth.

What Does it Cost to Register as a Player?

Teams are responsible for charging their players which is at the discretion of the club or team. Individual fees generally run between $250 to $400 dependent upon the level of competition, number of players on a team, practices and events, fundraising initiatives, and sponsorship.
