Today, we pause to listen, learn, remember and reflect.

As a soccer community, we bring together people from different backgrounds, cultures and lived experiences. That diversity is part of what makes our game and our community so special — but building a truly inclusive community begins with understanding the history we share.

On September 30, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts on Indigenous peoples, families and communities.

We all have a role to play in listening, learning and moving forward together — with respect, understanding and reconciliation.

Today and every day, we encourage our CUSA community to take the time to learn, reflect and have meaningful conversations.
